We have made this Solo table and chairs in Australian Blackwood. You may prefer to have yours made in either Tasmanian Messmate, Jarrah timber. A wide range of upholstery fabrics, leathers and timber stains is available or you may choose to supply a sample for colour matching.

Our Solo table can be made either fixed top or from a choice of extension styles. Since the late 70’s we have been making a traditional style of extension table, where the legs slide out with the top exposing a fixed leaf stored in the centre of the table. The advantage is the legs are always at the end of the table and more chairs can be easily be fitted in between. Recently we developed an automatic extension table with an easy to operate butterfly extension leaf. Out clients think its brilliant, Light weight and one person can operated it very easily.

An important point to note is that a fixed table will have the timber grain running the length of the table whereas an extension it will usually run across the width. It all has to do with the expansion and contraction of the solid timbers.
