Forte Dining Table

Our Forte dining table comes with a choice of extension styles: traditional leaf or butterfly. With the traditional extension mechanism, the legs are always at the corner of the table, allowing maximum chair placement between the legs. Alternatively, our Forte design tables feature a unique, lightweight, and easy-to-operate butterfly extension leaf, resulting in automatic extension of the top. It's important to note that a fixed table will have the timber grain running the length of the table, while an extension one will usually run across the width due to the expansion and contraction of the solid timbers. 

We have perfected our solid timber extension tables over many decades your table will not be affected by movement of the timber with the change of seasons. You may not be aware that solid timber will expand and contract with changes in humidity whilst it is in you home. In some cases this can be up to 10mm.
