Description

The design is a reproduction of a desk designed by Schulim Krimper in 1955, Manufacture c.1960. The replica sits in the National gallery of Australia in Canberra.

Originally commissioned for a Melbourne client, it is described as a classic of modern Australian furniture. The contrast between the solid box in timber and the glass makes for the allure of this design. A version of the original design has been enhanced with the addition of 12mm toughened glass and soft close under mounted runners on Dovetail drawer boxes. Timber filing cabinets are also available.
